Jackson has been part of the Africasana tours team since 2020 and is valued by colleagues and guests for his many years of experience and kind character. He fell in love with the idea of being a safari guide on a school trip to Tarangire National Park many years ago. Starting off as a mechanic, he soon added safari guiding to his skills set and embarked on his dream career. Jackson shares a fascination and love for big cats with many of his guests, always scouting for lions when on safari. Hiking in the Usambara Mountains is another of his favorite activities. A family man and nature lover, he ensures his two children grow up appreciating Tanzania's wildlife and natural heritage.

Elizabeth is a real local, being born and bred in Morogoro and has been part of our team since 2019. She loves to travel and look out for the Big Five in Tarangire, Manyara and Arusha National Park or the Ngorongoro Crater. She finds it fascinating to see different animals, big and small, living together and depending on each other. At Africasana tours, Elizabeth double and triple checks reports and statements to make sure our books are always in order.

Nassari became a certified guide in 2017 and joined our team in 2019. He loves guiding because it allows him to show people from around the world his country and share his knowledge of nature. At the same time, he enjoys learning about other cultures from his guests. He doesn't have a favourite time of year because he enjoys the diversity of each passing season. Nassari doesn't have a favourite park but loves Tanzania's Northern Circuit, especially the Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park. Nassari's enthusiasm for wildlife is infectious, especially when he sees his favourite animals and birds, the giraffe and vulture.

Samweli studied tourism and statistics and worked as a statistician and hotel and marketing manager before joining Africasana tours in 2019. Samweli became a safari guide because he loves nature. He also enjoys interacting with his guests. He loves to share life experiences and to learn from people. Moreover, he likes that on safari, he is his "own boss". He appreciates the freedom his job gives him. What makes Samweli a good safari guide is that he often knows what his guests need before they even tell him. His area of expertise is wildlife, and he knows a lot about birds. His favorite part of Tanzania are the northern national parks because of their extremely varied landscapes and their fascinating history. "We do really have animals here – it's not a joke!"

After graduating from the renowned College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka, in Moshi, Antony joined our team in August 2020. His passion for wildlife and conservation, combined with his professional training, makes him an exceptional guide. Antony's deep understanding of Tanzania's ecosystems and wildlife behavior ensures that every safari he leads is both educational and unforgettable. He takes pride in sharing his knowledge with guests and helping them appreciate the delicate balance of nature in Tanzania's national parks.
